Benjamin Bridge Cabernet Franc Rosé 2016
This product is currently sold out.
The Cabernet Franc rosé varietal has a reputation for producing some of the world’s finest rosé wines, many of which come from the Loire Valley of France. By combining Cabernet Franc’s proven elegance with the refreshing qualities of the Annapolis Valley terroir, Benjamin Bridge has created an exciting new wine with complex flavours.
Driven by their philosophy of pushing both viticultural and winemaking boundaries, the wine makers are extremely proud of this 100% Cabernet Franc rosé – a Nova Scotia first. Like other sensitive vinifera varietals critical to Benjamin Bridge’s wine program, supportive growing conditions are an essential but unreliable element.
Thanks to local grape-growing partners, who are committed to expressing the freshness and distinctiveness of our maritime climate, the result is another standout vintage.

“In the glass, a soft orange pink. On the nose, mineral accented aromas of blood orange are complicated by floral nuances. The palate is focused and precise with zesty notes of lemon rind, mint and redcurrant. Lingering suggestions of cassis echo through the racy, stony finish.”
