This wine was fermented in stainless steel to maintain clean fruit flavours. The wine is fresh and crisp with a balancing sweetness. Produced from a blend of grapes grown in Avondale and on a rocky mountainside vineyard near Middleton, Lady Slipper was fermented with four different yeasts to help build a more complex rosé.
On the nose this wine shows notes of cherry, cranberry, strawberry, and orange zest, with a sweet thyme and cinnamon spiciness. The palate is fresh and crisp, with red fruit and savoury spice. The wine has a nice balance between sweetness and acidity with a subtle yet complex finish.
